Introduction

Heart & Soil is a company that makes animal-based supplements. They are a more natural option than the synthetic supplements you usually see at the store. I looked into them after hearing good reviews. I use them for prenatal supplements; they have a whole package for prenatals. Here is a review after using them through pregnancy.

About the Company

It’s based in Austin, Texas, so it’s an American company! The founder is Dr. Paul Saladion, who wrote the book The Carnivore Code. They source from farms that focus on Regenerative Agriculture in the USA and New Zealand. They manufacture here in the USA. This is just a quick overview of the company. Was used as a prenatal to begin with. Loved them so much I will be using them as a regular supplement after pregnancy.

Pros:

  • USA Company (Austin, TX)
  • Natural source of vitamins using beef organs
  • Regenerative Agriculture
  • Manufactured in the USA

Cons:

  • Little more expensive
  • Can’t buy in-store (only online)
  • To take a full dose, some are a lot of capsules (changes per supplement)

Ordering and Shipping

You have to order online and have the supplements shipped to you. The website is pretty user-friendly. I was easily able to get the supplements I wanted and set up a subscription. The shipping was actually very fast. It came in a really nice box, with good packaging so that the bottles couldn’t get damaged. The subscription showed up on time, and they notified me before shipping in case I wanted to make changes.

Performance

Overall, I’m happy with the performance of the supplements from a prenatal standpoint. I used a different vitamin last time I was pregnant, and the difference in how I felt was very noticeable. When I first started them, I had pretty bad morning sickness, but shortly after, I was less sick and felt more energetic overall. The brain fog was much better with these, as was my overall mood. I will be using them as a regular supplement after my pregnancy.

Value for the Money

The main thing that I wasn’t sure about when looking into trying these was the moneyWas it going to be worth it? They are on the more spendy side, especially compared to regular supplements on the shelf at the store. That being said, if you want quality, you will have to pay for it, and because these are a very natural source of vitamins, they are better for you than the fully synthetic ones that are cheaper.

Are you getting value for the money? I would say yes, you are. They are an organic source of vitamins. The only thing that isn’t a beef organ is the capsules. Another thing that makes me feel they are worth it is that I could feel the difference after about three weeks of taking them.

Conclusion

Overall, I would recommend them as a supplement. As a prenatal, they have been great. The difference in the amount of energy, morning sickness, and brain fog has been noticeable. All of this has helped me keep up with a busy toddler. They are an American company manufactured in the USA. Being in the beef industry, I feel they are a very natural source of vitamins.
